How does billing work?
We have a simple billing system for premade items, we accept credit/debit card, bank transfers, paypal, cashapp, bitcoin, mailed checks and hand delivered hundreds. for custom commissions there is a contract and those payment terms will be agreed on and outlined within.
How does scanning work?
We mail you a 3d scanner once deposit has been paid, or you come into the shop to be 3d scanned by us, the 3d scanner requires 2 people, we will send out a person to 3d scan you for the cost of travel.
once I’m “scanned” then what?
once i have your scan i make the object in CAD, like fusion360, print a body double, like a dress form. do my initial fitting on this form, print proofs on my 3d printer, mail the proofs to you for fitting, then once i have the size/shape correct manufacture the item in what ever media we agree on.
what can you manufacture my commission in?
all manner of plastic and resin and metal 3d print, fiberglass, carbon fiber, sheet goods and sheet metals, steel, aluminum, gold/ silver other metals, gemstones, cloth, leather, lace, fur, bones, wood, simple injection and blow molded plastic, concrete, basically any media, i have a masters of mechanical engineering with a specialization in manufacturing and love learning new media.
How long will a commission take, how much will it cost?
that depends on the commission and we discuss timelines and cost during the initial contract write up but there are penalties for me delivering late so that should help alleviate your fear of me dragging my feet and not delivering for a set event like a gala or convention.
How long will it take to ship a premade item?
We have all premade items either actively on hand or the manufacturing molds to make them immediately, my goal is one week on all premade orders from time of order to in mail. we offer several mailing options as well as expedited handled for a fee. i can also hand deliver in the Houston area.
